Holiday Place Holders

Here is a very simple and easy way to make a holiday place holder.

What you need:

  • Tangerines
  • Burlap
  • White Card-stock
  • Tape
  • Twine/ribbon
  • Toothpicks
  • Black Fine Point Pen

Simply trace two different sized circles (the bigger circle for the burlap; the smaller for the card-stock). Write individual names on the white circles, and tape to larger burlap circles. Then tape a toothpick to the back of the two circles (I suggest taping the tip of the top of the toothpick to the bottom of the circle so you have enough room for the bow). Tie a bow around the tooth pick with your twine, and stick into the bottom side of the tangerine. Now you have yourself a super cute place holder. I made ten of these in about 20 minutes. This is a great last minute project to add a little somethin’ somethin’ to your holiday table.
