Perkins Shirt + Fulton Sweater Blazer

Happy Valentine’s Day! Without planning it ahead of time, the last two garments I made ended up pairing so well together! They also make a great Valentine’s Day outfit! I love this blush pink color, have for a while now, so it’s no coincidence that this worked out. I can’t resist this lovely color! IContinue reading “Perkins Shirt + Fulton Sweater Blazer”

Creating a fashion forward handmade wardrobe, one garment at a time.

My Lyra dress is finished! Pattern is @tillybuttons and fabric is from @fabricgodmother in “Bronte Floral Viscose Crepe”. Wonderful pattern to sew up and this fabric is so lovely!!!! So excited to add this dress to my Sunday line-up for church. #sewinglyra #fabricgodmother #gifted
Sewing buttonholes has never been easier than with my buttonhole foot on my @babylocksewing Brilliant sewing machine. Perfect buttonholes every time!! I used to get so frustrated sewing buttonholes- lots of unpicking!! Not anymore!! Head over to the blog today to see just how simple sewing buttonholes with a Baby Lock sewing machine can be. Also, in my post I walk you through how I learned to hand sew a button onto a garment while studying clothing construction in college. 🪡 Do you know how to properly sew on a button? Come find out!
Took a quick trip to Solvang, California over the weekend and wore my new #antheablouse I made with my @babylocksewing machines! This top was a fun project to make and equally enjoyable to wear! Love this casual yet slightly dressier top newly added to my wardrobe. I used this really pretty slub linen rayon blend fabric I found at my local @joann_stores. Head over to the blog for a few things I would adjust for next time + a full sewing tutorial. #babylockambassador #babylockstyle #solvang #joannfabrics #handmadewithjoann
@babylocksewing challenged us to turn a fabric panel made for a tote bag into something creative! This is what I came up with! A fun pieced pillow to go on my sewing chair. ❤️🪡🧵 Also, don’t look too closely! Im def not a quilter! 😆
